4th of july

Each year, the Calder Place 1929 neighborhood hosts a family friendly parade on the 4th of July  -- rain or shine.

The parade starts at 9:00am and only takes about a half hour.  It’s a great way to start your celebrations. There is no other 4th of July parade in the Beaumont area, so this is very special.

For those who want to walk in the parade, the lineup starts at 8:30am at the BISD Administration Building between Harrison and North Streets. There will be pets in costumes, decorated golf carts, boats, tricycles, strollers, bicycles, vintage cars, and all sorts of folks dressed up in red white and blue. Bring your lawn chairs!

Everyone, no matter where you might live, is welcome to come walk in the parade itself or just simply enjoy the view.
